Banana-Oat Balls with Peanutbutter Recipe!

Hi Guys!
Personally, I really enjoy simple and tasty recipes.
I also enjoy a good snack,
but I'm not that healthy of an eater.
So in terms of snacking healthier,
I'll be sharing a recipe with you which I have come up with,
so you can make your own healthy snacks!
It's really simple, tasty and only takes like five minutes to make.
You only need three ingredients!
Let's start!

Ingredients:

The ingredients:
  • 1 banana
  • A little bit of peanutbutter
  • 90 grams or 1 cup of oats/muesli

Directions!

Firstly take your oats/muesli, and measure 90 grams or 1 cup. Put them aside in a smaller bowl and continue to the next step!

Take your banana and mash it in the big bowl using a fork or potato masher. Couldn't be easier!

Add your oats or muesli to the mashed banana and mix it together. I used a muesli with pieces of apple and raisins in it, so feel free to choose whatever variation you like.

This is the part where things get a bit messy.  Just use your hands and roll balls out of the mixture you've just created. You'll be able to roll about six balls (I had a little bit left, but you can just scoop it out of the bowl and eat it (-:). If you want to make more or less, you can alter the numbers, but you need to keep the proportions the same. Rolling the balls can be a bit tricky at first, but once you get a hang of it it will be super easy!

Now put it in the microwave for one minute to get the tast of baked banana! When it's done take it out and put it in the fridge to make them a bit more solid. While they're cooling down, it's time to make the peanutbutter topping!

Scoop some of the peanutbutter into a seperate bowl and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. You really don't need much! You can also put it in the microwave for a longer time to make it more liquid, but this was fine for me. When it comes out just stir it around a bit and take your oat balls out of the fridge.
Press the balls together a bit more thight, and they should look something like this. Time to add the peanutbutter!
Just use a knife or spatula to spread the peanutbutter and you're done! Bon appetit!

So that's it for today guys! These snacks are really really really tasty and super simple to make! I haven't tried making them without the microwaving yet, because I love baked banana, but you could give it a try. I really enjoyed making these oat snacks, and let me know in the comments below if gave them a ty too!
What's your favourite way of snacking healthy?
xXx Me
